Bones for Life, a series of more than 100 dynamic but safe and gentle movements that stimulate bone strength. Bones for Life uses natural weight-bearing techniques that require less effort and yield direct benefits to people with conditions such as osteoporosis and musculoskeletal pain.
Bones for Life is designed to meet you just where you are, and to use the environment around you to support your comfort and learning. The Feldenkrais Method, ® a form of body-mind education that uses gentle movement and directed attention to enhance your activities of daily life, athletic pursuits and creative endeavors. Through this method, you can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement.
June teaches Feldenkrais classes and works one-on-one with individual clients. In her Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement ® classes, June invites you to do movements while you are standing, lying on a floor or sitting in a chair. In private Feldenkrais Functional Integration ® lessons, you will lie fully clothed on a padded table while June gently and skillfully moves you. in both classes and private sessions, you’ll learn how to overcome patterns of illness and injury, and restore a sense of wholeness and efficiency to your movement.
